Event Type : Family-Friendly

Taste of Lilburn is an exciting event featuring delicious food from some of our great local restaurants. A great way to discover new eateries and old favorites too! Sample food from around the world that can be found just around the corner. Attendees will need to purchase ‘taste tickets’ that will be used to select different food items. All proceeds will fund GFWC Lilburn Woman’s Club’s efforts to support local schools, scholarships and food banks.

Join Cornhole ATL, Old Town Lilburn, 1910 Public House, and Agavero Cantina Parkside for a 7 week outdoor spring cornhole league in Lilburn City Park on Thursday nights! 

Registration to participate begins on January 22nd and ends on March 11th.

Season begins on Thursday, March 21st but you must be registered by Monday, March 11th!

The Splash Pad at Lilburn City Park will open for the season at 12 pm on Saturday May 18th.

Operating hours for the Splash Pad are Sunday, Wednesday,  and Thursday 11 am – 7pm, Friday and Saturday from 12pm – 9pm, and closed on Monday and Tuesdays for maintenance.

Last day of operation for the season is on Saturday September 22, 2024.

Join DJ Matt for a kid’s dance party at the Splash Pad Saturday May 25th from 12pm- 3pm.  Family friendly tunes, lots of fun, and games.

Join us for a free outdoor concert in Lilburn City Park.  

We are excited to announce that Guardians of the Jukebox will be the headliner for Rock the Park along with local band the High Beams!

Pack a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a free concert under the stars. Coolers are welcome, but no outside alcohol is allowed. Food, Beer, Wine, and Margarita’s will be available to purchase at the event.

No tents or umbrella’s during the event.

VIP tables will be available for purchase closer to the even date.  Look for announcement on Facebook or check back here for updates.  VIP table purchase includes, 1- 60″ Round table, table cloth, up to 6 chairs, reserved parking, a Lilburn SWAG bag, and a chance to win a great prize.  Prize will be awarded to the best decorated table.

Parking:
 Walkable offsite parking will be available at the Park, Old Town public parking areas, Lilburn City Hall 340 Main Street and (Lilburn First Baptist) @ Main & Young Streets.   Offsite parking lots will close at 11 pm so please be sure to get back to your vehicle immediately after the event.

 Accessible parking will be available on a first come, first served basis at the Main Street parking lot located at 76 Main Street.

– Lawn chairs or blankets are recommended. 
– NO Tents, umbrella’s or grills are allowed.
– Coolers are allowed and are subject to search.
-NO outside alcohol allowed. *Margarita’s, Beer, and Wine will be available for purchase at the event and in the Historic Main Street District.
 – Leashed pets are welcome, as long as they do not mind crowds and loud music.
– NO Smoking in Lilburn City Park.

Celebrate Independence Day in Lilburn City Park! Fireworks, Live Band, Kid’s Activities, Food Trucks, and lots of Fun!

This annual event in Lilburn City Park will include Fireworks, Live Band, Kid’s Activities, Food Trucks, and lots of Fun!

Event Schedule- (subject to change)

• 5:30 pm Shuttle Service  and event activities begins.
• 6:00 pm Opening act Son Latina takes the stage. 
• 7:30 pm  Lilburn’s favorite, The GlowBand takes the stage.
• 9:30 pm Vendors will close and Fireworks begin. The show will last approximately 20 minutes
• 9:50 pm Event ends immediately after the fireworks.

Things to know before you come:

•  Lawn chairs or blankets are recommended. 
• No Tents or grills.
• Although vendors will accept cards for payment there is always the chance that there will be technical difficulty.  Bring a little cash just incase.  We do not have an ATM on site.
• No outside alcohol. Coolers are allowed and are subject to search. Beer and wine will be available for purchase at the event and in the Old Town hospitality zone.
• No Pets please.  Fireworks, loud music, and large crowds can upset our furry family members.
• No outside fireworks or sparklers.
• Please remember that smoking is not allowed in Lilburn City Park.

Parking:

•  Shuttle Service  will begin at 5:30 pm and transport attendees from parking lots at Lilburn City Hall-Library, Lilburn First Baptist Church, and the parking lot located across the street from Salem Missionary Baptist Church at the corner of Killian Hill and Church Street.  These lots are approximately 1 block from drop off point at Lilburn City Park. 
• Event Parking – Greenway Trail parking lot, Public parking spaces in Old Town Lilburn, Lilburn City Hall, and Lilburn First Baptist parking lot.
• Accessible Parking is located at 76 Main Street at Lilburn City Park on a first come, first served basis. 

*Main Street will be CLOSED from 9-10:30pm to allow for safe passage of pedestrians from Lilburn City Park after the Fireworks.  If you park near Lilburn City Park or on Main Street, you may not be able to leave the area for at least 30 minutes following the event.
